Odisha Public Service Commission to make online applications mandatory
OPSC - The Odisha Public Service Commission , the Odisha state government's recruiting agency, has decided to make online application for jobs mandatory as it takes long time for processing offline applications which are direcly received at Commissions offices.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and state PSCs in Kerala,Andhra Pradesh,Karnataka, Tamil Nadu,Rajasthan, Maharashtra and UP have already switched over to the online system for receiving Job applications against their Job notifications.
The OPSC has also decided to award negative markings in all examinations with multiple choice questions. For all objective type questions, the commission will also announce the model correct answers to the questions in the website inviting objections. On the basis of feedback received, a team of experts will examine and decide the final correct answer. "This will ensure transparency in evaluation of answer sheets of all examinations with multiple choice questions," the OPSC spokesperson said.
