1.	A walk-in-interview will be held on 25th June 2012 at 1.30 p.m in the Department of Botany, North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong-793022, Meghalaya, for 1 post each of JRF and Laboratory Attendant under DBT sponsored project entitled “Phytochemical profiling, molecular characterization and conservation of Flemingia vestita: Endemic medicinally important plant of North-East India”.
2.	Applications are invited for a Research Associate (RA) or a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) or a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under CSIR sponsored research project entitled “Spectrofluorimetric Investigation on Model Nitrogen Containing Heterocyclic drugs and their Interaction with DNA Nucleotides” at the Department of Chemistry, North – Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong.
3.	Applications on plain paper along with the bio-data and attested copies of all relevant documents are invited for the position of Laboratory Engineer in a research project entitled “Development of Speech based Multi-Level Person Authentication System” funded by the Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Govt. of India, for a maximum period of three years.
4.	The Department of Biotechnology is, under its project “Establishment of  State level Biotech Hub under special programme for NER”,   offering 5 nos of Studentships and 5 nos. of Traineeships to M.Sc/ Ph.D students in the discipline of Life Sciences for capacity building in the field of Biotechnology.
